My approach to health and wellness blends extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, a background in psychology, and a former career in medical communications. As we work together, we will explore not only your goals and objectives around health and wellness, but also the role your environment and cultural background play in your relationship with food.
I began my career in the healthcare industry in 2002. Initially focused on quantitative market research, I transitioned to pharmaceutical marketing communications. As a healthcare writer, I developed programs designed to address specific healthcare marketing challenges across a wide range of audiences. In such a capacity, I interacted regularly with pharmaceutical brand teams and key opinion leaders in healthcare.
Mine was a close-up look at the pharmaceutical industry and our current healthcare system and I am thankful for it. The more I learned, the greater my conviction that we need a shift to a more holistic approach health and wellness.
I received my training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). There I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.
